What we’re looking for

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Assist the Health and Safety Manager in implementing and overseeing the company’s health and safety strategies across all departments and locations, 

  • Lead or participate in comprehensive risk assessments, identifying potential hazards and ensuring preventive measures are in place to minimize risks,  

  • Assist in the investigation of workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences, 

  • Ensure compliance with both local and international health and safety regulations, conducting regular audits and inspections to verify adherence to safety standards

  • Deliver training programs to employees and managers on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and best practices, promoting a culture of safety, 

  • Contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of health and safety programs and initiatives within the company, 

  • Monitor and analyze health and safety metrics, preparing reports for the Health and Safety Manager and senior management, and using data to drive improvements

Qualifications (Essential):

  • Educational Background & Experience: University degree with a major or specialization in OHS or Postgraduate degree in OHS and at least 5 year of work experience in OHS Services,

  • Experience in OHS: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a health and safety role, ideally within an international or large-scale organization,

  • Knowledge of Global and Local Regulations: Strong understanding of both international (e.g., ISO 45001) and local health and safety regulations and standards,

  • Leadership and Team Collaboration: Demonstrated experience in leading safety initiatives and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and management, 

  • Risk Management Expertise: Proven ability to identify and assess workplace risks and implement effective preventive measures, 

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to train staff and present safety reports to management.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to implement appropriate preventive measures in line with OHS regulations.

Qualifications (Desired):

  • Advanced OHS Certifications: Additional qualifications such as ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, or advanced NEBOSH certifications are highly desirable,

  • Industry-Specific Experience: Experience in health and safety management within specific industries such as manufacturing, construction, or logistics,

  • International Experience: Experience working in or supporting health and safety programs across multiple countries or regions,

  • Crisis Management Experience: Proven ability to manage and respond to emergency situations, including familiarity with business continuity and disaster recovery plans,

  • Foreign Language Skills: Proficiency in a second language, particularly relevant for multinational operations (e.g., English, German, or Russian), is an asset.

Experience:

  • Ideally, 3-5 years of experience in health and safety roles, with a demonstrated track record in managing safety programs within large or international organizations, 

  • Experience in specific industries relevant to the company (e.g., manufacturing, construction) is a plus,

  • Certified with recognized qualifications in health and safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent local certifications)

  • Experience working in or with multinational teams or managing safety programs across different countries is advantageous, 

  • Proven experience in leading health and safety initiatives, managing teams, and collaborating with senior management to drive safety improvements
