What we’re looking for
Lead and mature AUTODOC’s Category management Project portfolio function - ensuring that portfolio of 50+ initiatives is selected, prioritized, executed, and monitored in a way that delivers measurable business value, supports the Category management strategy, and aligns with AUTODOC’s broader business objectives. The CM PPM leads the team of project managers within the Category Management team, collaborating closely with the Transformation Management Office (TMO) to adhere to established project documentation and framework standards.
Responsibilities:
Ensure the Category management portfolio is managed in accordance with TMO’s PPM framework, stage - gates, and facilitate governance forums.
Align project selection and prioritization with Category management strategy, OKRs and commercial goals.
Provide advisory recommendations on project approval, continuation, or termination.
Methodology & Standards
Implement approved project management methodology within the Category management team.
Adhere to TMO - defined artefact standards (business case, status report, benefits - realization plan, post - implementation review).
Continuous Improvement: drive and support enhancements based on lessons learned, and contribute to overall standards improvement in collaboration with TMO.
Continuous refinement of project management methods and their effective application to CatMan initiatives.
As a SMART task, participate in defining requirements for a unified PPM IT solution and support its implementation within CatMan.
Portfolio Execution
Ensure timely delivery of strategic Category management projects, managed by the team.
Change Request Management: ensure critical project parameters, such as scope, budget, and schedule, are under control, with change request controls in place.
Reporting & Analytics
Publish monthly portfolio progress reports and dashboards, highlighting financials, schedule, risk, and benefits realization.
Track Category Management KPIs and produce quarterly strategy - execution reports (QPRs).
Benefits Management & Financial Control
Collaborate with the finance department to support the financial assessment process, track and confirm incremental project metrics; develop post-implementation assessment procedures in accordance with company standards.
Top-level control of CAPEX/OPEX and forecasting of budget deviations.
People Leadership & Community Enablement
Act as a change driver, partnering with Category Management leaders to build and enhance project management practices.
Implement and promote project methodologies, ensuring adoption across the department.
Enforce TMO project standards, ensuring consistency and quality in project delivery.
Provide support Project managers.
Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as a trusted advisor to the Category Management executive team, project sponsors, and stakeholders across all company organizational units on matters related to Category management Project portfolio.
Facilitate steering - committee and executive - level decision - making with clear, data - driven insights.
Job Requirements:
Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a minimum of 8-9 years of commercial project management experience.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects
Strong experience in project planning, stakeholder management and risk analysis.
Excellent communication skills including high level fluent English, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders .
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and team members.
Nice to have:
Experience in working with Agile methodologies and product development best practices will be a plus.
Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 will be a plus.
Knowledge of the Automotive industry is also a plus.
Experience with Jira, Confluence and collaborative tools.
