Manager Environmental Sustainability

Where your expertise is needed

The Manager Environmental Sustainability at AUTODOC will lead and implement environmental and sustainability initiatives across warehouses, operations, and transport networks with strong operational ownership. This role goes beyond strategy and focuses on execution, compliance, performance improvement and measurable impact. You will be responsible for ensuring environmental compliance, reducing environmental risks, driving decarbonization initiatives, and embedding environmental management systems across logistics operations.

What we’re looking for

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Implementation

  • Develop and implement AUTODOC’s environmental & sustainability strategy across operations.
  • Translate corporate targets into practical site-level actions.
  • Drive environmental management system implementation (ISO 14001).
  • Define environmental standards, procedures and KPIs.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with EU and local environmental regulations.
  • Conduct environmental audits and risk assessments.
  • Lead corrective actions for non-compliance.
  • Act as the central expert for environmental compliance topics.

Sustainability Execution

  • Lead energy efficiency, waste management and emission reduction programs.
  • Implement carbon reduction initiatives across logistics operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in environmental performance.

Reporting & Performance Control

  • Track environmental KPIs and performance indicators.
  • Support ESG and sustainability reporting activities.
  • Maintain legal registers and environmental documentation.

Perks at work

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Management, Engineering, Sustainability, EHS or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in EHS / Environmental or Sustainability roles in logistics, warehousing, manufacturing or industrial operations.
  • Solid knowledge of:
    • EU environmental regulations
    • ISO 14001 or environmental management systems
    • Carbon footprinting & energy management
  • Experience with audits, inspections and authority communication.
  • Fluent English.

Preferred

  • Additional certification in EHS / Environmental Management.
  • Experience in multi-site or regional environments.
  • Knowledge of German, Polish or Czech.
  • Experience with ESG or sustainability reporting frameworks.
  • Project management experience in operational rollouts.
