What we’re looking for

AUTODOC is experiencing 20% YOY growth, underpinned by the services provided by our Supply Chain team. As the most important team in the organisation, we want to make sure that our understanding of the financial performance of the supply chain team is top-notch. We already have weekly and monthly controlling processes, but believe we can implement stronger models to truly understand what happens on the warehouse floor.

To support this, we are looking for someone to join as Senior Manager for Supply Chain Controlling. This person will be the strategic partner to supply chain and financial controlling teams, working closely with the VP Supply Chain to bridge the gap between operations and finance. Inheriting a brown-field of financial controlling processes, you will be driving improvements to our current controlling processes to implement stronger, data-driven decision making.Your leadership will be key in improving operational efficiency, ensuring financial discipline, and delivering measurable business outcomes.

As Senior Manager, Supply Chain Controlling, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborate with the supply chain and finance teams to ensure accurate financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting for supply chain operations, including warehousing, 3PL, transportation, infrastructure, and related costs.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, variance analyses, and factor analysis to support decision-making.
  • Conduct cost control and labor planning for the entire supply chain network.
  • Monitor and analyze operational KPIs, such as cost per shipment, inventory holding costs, delivery timelines, and warehouse utilization, ensuring alignment with financial targets.
  • Lead the creation of performance dashboards and ensure timely reporting of financial metrics.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities across supply chain operations without compromising service levels.
  • Serve as the primary operational finance partner for the supply chain team, ensuring alignment with the finance department’s objectives.
  • Work with the finance team to create seamless bridges between operational data and financial statements.
  • Support audits, compliance checks, and reporting requirements for supply chain expenditures and contracts.
  • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives that enhance financial oversight in supply chain operations.
  • Oversee system integrations for data collection, ensuring accuracy and automation where possible.

The ideal candidate will have a background consisting of:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • At least 7-9 years of experience in supply chain finance, logistics operations finance, or a similar role in a complex, high-volume supply chain environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, variance analysis, and operational cost control.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, PowerBI
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present figures in context, translating them into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Excellent English skills (written and spoken).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in factor analysis and bridge creation.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes, including inbound/outbound logistics, warehousing, and 3PL models.
