What we’re looking for
About the Role:
Senior Category Manager will lead a category team responsible for developing a specific group of categories, with the goal of maximizing sales, profits, and customer satisfaction metrics. This will be achieved by optimizing product mix, defining purchasing rules, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience on AUTODOC’s web and app platforms across target markets. The role focuses on driving category strategy development and execution to meet business objectives.
A successful candidate for this high-impact role will be a self-starter with a passion for independent, creative problem-solving, have proven data analysis skills, demonstrate strong ownership and commitment, and have proven leadership experience in driving cross-functional projects.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement category-specific strategies to maximize sales and profit on target markets.
Define and enforce rules for assortment mix to optimize product offerings.
Establish category-specific pricing policies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
Set requirements for the presentation of goods on Autodoc platforms to enhance customer experience collaborating with Product Tech team.
Monitor and analyze KPIs including sales, gross margin, contribution profit, and CR.
Lead performance reviews and ensure effective execution of Category strategies.
Mentor and guide the Category Management team, fostering collaboration wit the company's departments.
Requirements:
Min 5+ years working in a vendor management or P/L ownership role preferred.
Fluent English, fluency in additional European languages is a big plus.
An understanding of and passion for Automotive industry.
3+ years work in Automotive or automotive aftermarket commercial role
Ability to convey complex topics in simple terms
Ownership – thinks like an owner
Experience in Business, category management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven negotiation skills, influencing abilities
Strong numerical and analytical aptitude
Innovative, team oriented, and have a desire to participate in change and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities.
Masters or Postgraduate degree in business management
