What we’re looking for

As our new Group Compliance Manager (m/f/d), you will play a key role in safeguarding AUTODOC’s integrity and values as we continue our transformation into a leading tech ecosystem for the automotive world. Reporting to the SVP General Counsel, you will lead our compliance team based in Germany with responsibility for corporate compliance, ethics, and data protection. 

You will oversee a  dedicated team responsible for internal investigations into whistleblower reports and potential misconduct - covering everything from employee relations matters and supplier integrity to upholding the highest ethical standards. This includes everything from complex workplace incidents in our warehouses (such as harassment cases) to compliance with international sanction regimes and anti-fraud or AML controls.

Beyond investigations, the team also drives key compliance functions: monitoring regulatory developments, managing policies and codes of conduct, overseeing anti-bribery and corruption measures, implementing data protection and privacy standards, and ensuring workplace integrity. By providing training, risk assessments, and ongoing monitoring, the team ensures that compliance is not just a requirement, but a lived culture across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a dedicated team of international Compliance Specialists and Counsels of varying seniority.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to our “Compliance Ambassadors” in multiple European entities.

  • Regularly identify and evaluate compliance risks across digital platforms and warehouse operations.

  • Vet and monitor suppliers, logistics partners, and service providers for compliance risks.

  • Maintain and enforce the company’s code of conduct and compliance policies.

  • Develop and deliver training to staff, including warehouse and logistics teams, on compliance obligations.

  • Maintain systems for reporting unethical or unlawful behavior anonymously.

  • Report findings to the senior management and supervisory board.


 

Qualifications:

  • Recognised legal qualification; e.g. LL.M. or comparable. 

  • 5+ years of experience working in Compliance roles within European jurisdictions.

  • Experience working with companies with large operational teams, such as warehouses, retail floors, production environments.

  • First team management experience and/or drive to step up into a leadership role.

  • Wide exposure to corporate compliance topics.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and issues simultaneously; strong prioritization and problem solving skills.

  • Fluency in English is a must; languages like German, Polish, Russian are a plus.
